7 groups over 5miles, that combi clamp trailer isn’t going to last with us... what an arse.
Hey ho, I’m really getting too old for this nonsense.

Have you got the small trailer wheels with that stupid long pole you have to feed down the slots? We did 10 moves with it recently, easiest job is tip the clamp on its side , hardest job is moving the ramp as it’s so bloody heavy! I never bothered with the unloading ramp as it doesn’t fit anywhere except in a separate trailer..set up combi clamp to start tomorrow, new to us. Plan is to tail, castrate, click all, mark ewe lambs, ewes get dragged, wormed .

He must be left handed?Am I being thick or is the panel on the wrong way round?
Ie by the foot plate
Its the wrong way round for the curve really. Operator should be stood the other side on the inside of the curve. Easier to drop back to push a sheep up and also the sheep aren't looking at the operator as they come around the curve.
It went pretty well for a first attempt, I’ve never used a combi before and didn’t miss one. I corrected the panel and have set up for next lot the other way round, they mostly ran pretty well as it was.
The Ritchie trailer arrangements got to be changed, it’s plain impractical. I like the clamp at ground level, so we need to cobble something up .
Main issue of the day was my glass back gave out., only 700 more ewes to do
