Kaiwaka handlebar mits

Be VERY careful they don't open the throttle when you turn the handlebars!
My mitts (Oxfords) rolled me backwards down an almost sheer bank & pinned me under the quad. I had a devil of a job to push the quad back off on top of me (- big bloke & light quad - you may not be so lucky...)
I had to modify the thumb throttle to prevent it happening again, but mitts are nice in this weather.

We once rolled a bike into a ravine with logic mitts catching the throttle. Driver jumped off thankfully never touched them again

Both bikes were stolen !

They are great, good and long , just be very careful as mentioned with the throttle!!

I tipped my bike last autumn. Fortunately I wasn’t under it, but I couldn’t get it upright again. Had to tow it over with the van.

I had a set of logic ones that were bloody dangerous almost came a cropper a few times with them catching the throttle. I changed them for some cheap fleece Lined ones that are far softer. They aren’t quite as easy to put your hands into because they don’t keep their shape the same but they are nice and warm and aren’t stiff enough to jam the throttle.

I'm probably being thick..... but how do you easily work the hand brake on Honda's with handle bar mitts on??

I tried a pair of logics on my bike and they were abit of a nightmare

We have had mitts on almost every bike here since the very first one came in the 80's

Darwinism at its best, IMO. Most accidents are the operators fault, but the mitts get the blame.

Don't like the ones in the OP. Have QuadPod and ATV City mitts currently. Both are good, QuadPod probably the better of the 2 (but only come in red, and look naff on a green bike)

You should check out the Xcite ones on eBay well worth the £16!

On the new hondas not a clue how you’d do it as it’s difficult enough without the mitts putting it into reverse, the silver wheeled hondas you could put into reverse or put handbrake on with 1 hand, I’ve got a new pair of logics that must be 10 year old and unused, probably put them on the Yam as I keep getting chillblains at the moment.

I don't know how you get by without them through winter and lambing, they are the best things.

Had (logic) heated handlebars on 1 bike - mitts are way better IMO. The heater kept my palms warm but backs of my hands got buggered and cracked up with wind chill... put mitts on and not long after the heater packed in, didn't miss it so never sorted it.

The plastic wind shields might be good, but I prefer my hands to be out of the rain at lambing

Had a search
They look well made, but I'm not sure they'd fit. My bike has buttons along the handlebar for the horn, difflock etc... not sure I could use those buttons?

They fit ok on my Honda and it has the same 4x4 diff lock box as the Suzuki beside the throttle and have the heated grip control past that. ?
