Keenan orbital spreader

Are keenan orbital spreaders any good for yard muck I have never seen one working and just wondered how people get on with them .

When you say yard muck do you mean strawy dung or sloppy stuff scraped up from around a yard?
Having owned one in the past, they’ll handle either anyway!!

Be straw based or out of a pile of rotted down in the field

Ah an orbital would handle it no worries. From strawy dung straight out of the shed to slurry they’ll pretty much spread anything. The operator needs half a brain though and they take a bit of power. Well built machines though.

If you get one drive fairly fast so any breeze blocks don’t go through the cab roof! Otherwise champion. Don’t let that put you off though I would buy one if I found one that’s any good

Yes I’ve seen that too. Looks like it needs some paddles on and a door but would work

The keenan orbital now comes with the deflector, whick keeps the spread height down.
