Have heard of this blue grease. Where do people get it from?

It's just a colour. Look at the spec of it.
They would put pink dye in it if they though it would sell better!

Dont get me wrong jcb blue grease is good but it's the spec that makes it.

Anyway moly is better for loaders. Or graphite is the dogs nuts but that only comes in calcium based which isn't a good idea on a farm cause ot dont mix with lithium based greases.

Set yourself a diary, I do all major lifting nipples when filling up as that takes about ten mins on my pump and then every Sunday I do king pins and swivel joints ect then every three weeks I do majors so UJ and half shafts. Takes me about an hour to do telehandler, tractor and yard machinery every three weeks. Once you get into the habit it becomes very easy as you know where everything is and you'll develop a 'loop' round them

Can’t you think of anything better to do on a Sunday?

This is the thing, it takes no time at all once you know what your going round doing. I feed up, grease up and then sweep the yards up every Sunday, just how grandad used to do it. Don’t think there is anything better to than keep stupidly expensive kit up to scratch and expensive concrete clean..?

Blue Grease is nothing more than a complex EP2 (usually) grease with a Dye in it for identification purposes, we do Red and Blue complex EP2 Grease, but also Fuchs dont dye there complex EP2 grease its just brown/amber (Although they do have one that is bright green which is very tacky), its purley for identification purposes, hope that helps.

My diggers are between 8&16 hours depending on work but only one speedy gun pump (2 pumps on a standard gun) per nipple, bucket & lift rams may gets little more.

It seems very sticky (more stickier than red grease), Is it suitable for UJ's and bearings?

OK, been looking at all these greases and specs, it would be so revealing about what they are for if it did not just go straight over my heado_O. Have just about used up my stash of cartridges so will be needing some more. only want 1 type of grease,so which do I need for...main priority is Heavy worked PTO joints, then not so heavy worked loader pins, axle pivots ect?

Grease is a big and complex industry on its own, it can get confusing and there are so many that cross over into similar situations and industries. We have various options but generally speaking our agri/plant customers buy the complex greases to do everything with the odd exception where something specific is needed. Back in the day alto of black pin and bush grease was used which contain graphite and moly, also used for 5th wheel. One grease we supply which we can defiantly recommend and will make a noticeable difference to other complex greases is the Fuchs Renolit LX PEP2 lime green in colour, but it can be used as an all rounder. Its not the cheapest but it is very good, very tacky withstands really mucky and wet conditions/water washout, has a really high temperature range will cope with 200c no problem. Some of our customers use this on toppers, washers, turf machinery, ditch work etc, then use more basic greases on everything else. For pins and bushes, 5th wheels, telescopic booms etc anything sliding against each other or taking a pounding we would always recommend the moly/graphite greases ( the black stuff )
Hope this helps, ask away for anymore advice.

So for someone like me who likes to be sure he is 'well protected' as you must always protect your shaft and nipples...

What would you say as an allrounder for the telehandler/tractor and implements? How much would a box of yours be to try?

Your right there you definitely don't want a dry shaft , Well your opening up a can of worms there, its always very personal preference or just what they have always been told to use between customers. Alot just use complex ep2 around the yard and that's good enough for their use, but you have to take into account how much the machinery is used and are they being used hard, and probably more importantly what the manufacturer states. As we have said previously we would say the moly/graphite greases are better suited for Suspension & Steering joints, fifth wheel, bucket pins, highly loaded roller bearings, Sliding or oscillating conditions and booms, ( but not for wheel bearings ) then use a complex grease on everything else inc wheel bearings. What we can say is the green LX PEP2 is the best universal lithium complex grease available so it is an option instead of having 2 greases.
Have a look at the links attached it will give you an idea on prices etc some are Fuchs and some are SAR.
You can then ring or email us to discuss further if you like, hopefully it all makes sense.
