I had a quote from Merse Agri of £350 for a new ram which was about what I thought.
I took it down to JG Engineering at Topcliffe, one man band with 5 lathes in the shed.
Similar to hydrapower but I'm hoping the family discount will help out.
He said to pop down late on Monday, which will be fantastic IF it happens.

I have one on an old gambette 24m boom looks ok not bent. Would post it to you if its any use.We were often bending them and got replacement rods and seals from steerforth.co.uk
