in fairness though, the q'aire was valid. however, it would give a better analysis if there were some profiling q's - the obvious one being;
are you an employer or employee?

Who are you?

Who do you work for?

What is the data to be used for?
Hi Steve,
I'm a doctoral student at the University of East London. The data is only for research purposes as it aims to develop a conceptual framework for managing persistent fatalities in high-risk industries such as Agriculture.
The findings will be benefical to all stakeholders (workers, industry) as modest contribution to knowledge.
Thanks

What University? What is your research question? I can't answer the questions without knowing both of those things.
Hi,
University of East London. These are the research questions
  • What are the contemporary safety practices that predisposes workers to accidents?
  • What are the underlying unsafe behaviours that influences dysfunctional safety practices among workers in high-risk industries?
  • Why are injuries and fatalities persistent among workers in high-risk industries?

I tried, but the questions simply didn't seem to relate to my own working conditions, or my own regard to health and safety.
I'm not sure that it would be reasonable to draw any industrywide conclusions from this survey.
It certainly doesn't relate to hill/livestock farming.

Animal was always my favourite muppet.

so, just looked at the questionnaire, question 1

From your personal experience, kindly rank the following industry behaviours from the most common to the least common causes of accident in the Agricultural sector(1 being the lowest and 5 the highest)

I don't consider myself particularly twp, but that is not clear to me

is 1 the most common cause of accidents
or
is 5 the most common cause of accidents

not clear to me

Questionnaires should be piloted, and written in clear English. Your supervisor is not doing a good job.

Question 1 needs an extra category …..
It’s an accident

your survey is about accidents. Sometimes they really are just accidental
It doesn’t always have to be: lack of training/lack of management/poor PPE etc etc
