My atv will not start . Has spark but no fuel and a f1 flashing light when trying to start.
Was working fine but today not starting. Fuel pump seems to pump ok.
Can I reset that fault light by disconnecting battery? Seems to have carburettor but is apparently fuel injected.

It won’t have a carb, you havnt pulled the rip cord out or knocked red switch off? Otherwise you will have to cross 2 wires to get fault code

F1 is fuel supply fault
I have a 400 and the issue with mine is a bad connection on the wiring under the seat it would be a good idea to check it mine was just a bad connection
Previous to that I had the pump off and away to be checked and replaced the fuel filter

FI light is not fuel supply fault, it could be anything on the fuel injection system, if you carry feed on it, ide almost guarantee a chewed wire

Ok fair enough, I meant I wont actually be a fuel supply issue but electrical, you need to read code to narrow it down
Mine had me baffled for a while it would run for some time fine then when it got hot and the fan kicked in it would stop and throw that code up
It was just a bad connection under the seat in the end but it can be hard finding an intermittent fault

Yer intermittent are the worst! That’s not actually the code, that comes up for any fault, the code will begin with a C, you can only see that with a laptop or by crossing wires in plug
