Kingquad, starting problems

The quad start normally straight of the button but today after a good run moving sheep, l stopped it for 5min and l thought it wasn't going to start, finally it went and seems fine how, l must have tried it 4 or5 times before it went. Strange, could it be the plug??.

Yes try the plug first. Then try turning the petrol off a few seconds before you stop the engine. Open just immediately before you go for a start. Just incase the engine is flooding with fuel.
