Kirkby's Kingdom

A little bit of gentle evening viewing for yourselves, not strictly farming, may be of interest to other Ryedale residents.

Ron Todd of Kirkbymoorside, can't be many people like him left, this must've been filmed about 31 years ago.
My Mrs appears in it, as does FIL.

The fields he occupied still stand undeveloped, now overgrown, the footpath at the corner of feversham drive still goes nowhere.

I watched this in the 90s and again via this site. I loved the gentleness of this man and all these years later still see what a lovely man he was. So pleased the ranch still stands. Simple times way back then, I hope Carl is still around growing sweet peas.
