Kramer 850 hydraulic pump gone

Our trusty Kramer 850 today decided to spit its hydraulic pump sadly . We've had it since new 10.000hours serviced 500 hours clockwork just had quote for new pump 6k plus 3k labour to fit new. Anyone had similar and done it do not want to say cheaper but not sure how to take this forward as the old girl is probably only worth 10k. any ideas?

Is this one from Germany my son found something similar roughly same price but different web site. My man that services them MD says that 26 bearings disappear to all parts of the hydraulic system and finding them is crucial to the success of a rebuild is this true?

If it's Merv that you're using then he'll most likely be right.

Fix if you reckon its good for a few more 000 hours You wont buy anything that is up to much for 9k
