Spec for spec?
We've got a 407 so far done 450hrs seems ok.

I see finally Kramer have made them so you can see the back right wheel !lowered that God awful bonnet .A big no compared to jcb .

If you are doing a lot of road work then imo the JCB with VT box otherwise
go for the best deal including longest warranty.

I know it sounds obvious, but drive both and see which you like as you will be driving it. We went for the kt407 it was cheaper and came with integrated reversing camera and auto greaser. All that said the best thing I find about the Kramer is the cut out at the top step/cab floor which makes getting in and out a lot easier.

Had a lot less trouble with the Scorpion than previous JCBs, will go Kramer when it's replaced. The only thing that let's the scorpion down to me is how slow it is towing a loaded trailer, otherwise its a fantastic machine

Most of them seem to have been very busy for their age though.

We kept our JD3420 but i remember the same sort of debate back then against
a JCB 530-70 i'm real glad we didn't go JCB at the time.

A forage guy near me has a kramer as it is the only one rated to pull his trailer, a 3 axle turntable loaded with maizebales. Must be at least 25 tonne loaded.
