Hi
Sorry my first post is about needing help !
I’ve been asked to split a Kubota 9960d
The clutch Pedal is biting right at the top.
I’ve been a mechanic for 20 years but never spilt a tractor before!
I’m just wondering if there’s any hidden surprises or is it a straight forward job ?
Cheers

Dont know about the particular model but iv split a few. No big deal but u would be best to invest in a jack on tracks for wheelin apart. My opinion is a threaded screw jack is best as once u set the height it cant drop the way a hydralic would a bit which aids puttin back together as its stil at the correct height.also make sure to chock the front axle on both sides of pivot pin between axle and the bump stops cause if u dont do this once the tractor is pulled apart the engine could tip over and fall which would be a mess and potentially very dangerous if u got caught below it. After that its pretty simple, jack engine slightly and backend up slightly only a few mm, bolts out, pipes disconnected, electrical wires disconnected and pull apart, new clutch in and put everythin together again. Ps take a mental note of where each pipe belongs or use different colour cable ties as when puttin it all together it can become confusin as to where everythin belongs
