I am lucking on a used spreader. I have found a used kuhn axera in good order.
Are the axera a good machine, what are the good and not so good points on them?
I think it is a isobus machine quantron p, has anybody run it on a more modern display like cci1200?

Very good spreader I do miss mine . Only fault i had was they will stripe steep ground.

Watch out for hydraulic motor bearings kukn will only supply new motors but if you catch them in time you can replace the bearings they're a standard off the shelf size .

My spreader was a 2009 with a quantron p but it wasn't isobus it had an isobus plug but wasn't iso compatible

We changed to KV geo spread which is a great spreader in many ways
We mainly changed due to stripping and dealer support from kuhn and the new Axis replacement not being as good as the axera

I mostly miss the hydraulic drive and the EMC side of it so it looked after the rate of each side independently if there's a blockage but I did have a lot of stripping problems on steep land
