Kuhn Axis 30.2 Fault in dosing system

Hi, we've got a 2017 Kuhn Axis 30.2 (non weight cell version). Been a bit touchy for a year when you first hook up, sometimes you get the error "Fault in dosing system. Stop". It's always the right side and will be open up to 3 and doesn't open fully either (like 530/580). Usually fixes itself once started spreading or if you blow the connector a little bit. But today when both sides are 0 and open fully to 580 as it should, the error still comes up. Seems to be spreading ok but isn't exactly ideal either. Anyone had anything similar and know a fix?

Hi thanks for the reply. Just tried and didnt help. Pins all looked ok but I gave them a small & careful brush with a wirebrush anyways.

Hi, so we put new actuators on today and tried calibrating the sliders. It only calibrates to -1,0 and 580 so it's still quite a bit off in the middle. Where it's meant to be at 200, it'll be at like 220 and 580 will go to 585 etc.

We think so yeah. We haven't had to calibrate them before but we did them like 4 times. Pushing back the slider slowly as when the monitor is pressed so it's stopping at the right area then watching it go up until its right again. Could be doing it wrong but don't think so. It's strange that it doesn't ask for any of the numbers in the middle. It's always sown a bit high in the middle but at the top its not far off

Yeah that might work. We only apply 40-50kg/AC to grazing ground per grazing (20 days) so sliders are only open 60-90 depending on speed. Might see what the sliders go to and make some adjustments.
