Kuhn lc302 drill coulter conversion

Have the above drill with Suffolk coulters which are ok in the spring or if the whole field is ploughed. This year with ploughing the middle first trash has built up on the coulters so thinking if it had discs it wouldn't have.
Is there a company doing a conversion kit? Looked at Andrew guest's site and it's for a kv drill

You'll want the seedflex Coulter bar but it's too much for the lc to be honest we had one but it's not built to last .
The new models are far better

Hi, we have a Kuhn Integra Box drill and PH combi unit. When we bought it it had Suffolk coulters, after a while when they became worn we changed them for Discs.
It took quite a bit of work to discover that it was possible, from memory each disc coulter was bought a complete unit, the disc and the leg all the way back to the mounting bar, I don't know if the ones from the box drill will be correct for your air drill but I will get the part numbers for you tomorrow if you like.

James,
I've managed to get some info for you.
On our Integra Box drill there are 2 rows of coulters, so there is a short arm (front coulter row) and a longer arm (rear coulter row). The part numbers are;
The front (short arm) disc assembly 1616614
The rear (long arm) disc assembly 1616615

My camera phone is playing up, so sorry I cant post any pictures. if you go onto the Kuhn website you can find the parts books for your drill and our Integra and then hopefully you can judge their compatibility. From memory it takes a bit of ferreting about to find what you need.
I registered our PH and Drill on to their system, and it then pulls up the parts books (and Opps book if you need it) specific to your machine by serial number. I think it also prices the parts.
From memory the arm assemblies were sold to us as whole goods items, and not through the parts system. We did ours something like 7 or 8 years ago and it was approx. £2500 ish to do the 20 coulters that we have on our drill.

Hope it helps, Pm me for a phone no and I can chat to you if it helps

We have the same drill as you but already on discs.
Broke one off on a rock a couple of weeks ago and missed to see it in the dark and ended up knackering the arm as well.
One short arm and the disc was £576 so to do our 28 row drill would cost £16,128 to do :X3:
Robert Davies machinery near Shrewsbury did have a complete 2nd hand disc toolbar for sale on their website a couple of weeks ago.
Maybe worth having a look...

Spoke to my dealer yesterday and he said it's not possible to do that on my drill

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
