Kuhn VB2160 intermittent net wrap problem?

I think it is a 2012 round baler, and the majority of the time works well, but can suffer periodic net wrap problems.

Set to apply 2.3 wraps of net per bale.

When playing up will usually apply 1.6 wraps then error on the controller and have to be tied off manually. I slackened off the belt on the nearside driving the net wrap as i thought it felt very tight, and it seemed a bit better I thought, but then has played up as finishing some baling this evening, I think it seems worse as I get on the last 500 to 700 metres of net, it went real well for a good spell on a new roll of net after I slackened belt off, but could be just coincidence?

I get that on ours occasionally. try cleaning the end of the sensor that counts the rotations. if that doesn't help try moving the sensor closer. I also find it does it more on the last bit of net, but I don't know why because the tension roller is driven, so the weight of the roll shouldn't affect it

Thanks, will have a look at the sensors.
it's the sensor that reads the home position for the knife mechanism trip. power actuator out so that trip pivot is as close to sensor as possible, set to 2mm clearance. try again. if the sensor has become intermittent, swap it with a back door sensor to test reliability.

I’ve fired up My Kuhn vb3165 baler after about 9 months sitting in the shed
It will not wrap net at all any thoughts?
