It was a retrofit upgrade offered by KV.

It didn't require any welding, just clamped onto the existing frame.

KV dealer should be able to get a printout of the kit and tine positions, although the kit is no longer available as I have had one or a 4.8m drill from a KV dealer recently, and they are ging to price up the kit components individually.

I tried the "c" shaped reversible points and instantly regretted my choice. They simply dragged up rubbish buried from previous cultivations. The "almost straight" non reversible ones are the better option by far.
I used to have this drill with the 4 rows and the 3 row before that.
The straight down points definitely reduce the blocking in my experience.
I hated the curved points...
But cut the stubble looooowww.
Re-pointed ours with the straighter version ahead of attempting some very trashy heavy ground.
Worked. A. Treat. 👍.
It cultivated down better than I expected, but surprised to drill through it nonetheless without a problem at all.

They don't dig as well as the reversible ones. Can't have everything I suppose.

When you look at the box on the TS it's odd that the front 2 rows have thicker wall than the rear row. Going by the radius of the corners. The rear row also carries the harrow so would thing it needs the heavier box.
