Kverneland ED100

I’m on the lookout for a new to me plough, an 4f ED 100. I might have sourced one at reasonable money, but it’s a cut down 5f on a 300 headstock.

Anyone know if my 6920 struggle to lift it, I know there isn’t a mission with a 5 furrow. My concern is the extra space between top link and front furrow on a 300 vs a 200. A 4f with a 300 headstock will be a pretty much indestructible plough I think.

The seller recons it will end up 17 foot from top link to depth wheel.

Help!

My 6920 then 6930 handled a 5 furrow es 100 so a heavier plough. It was OK but not great . 4 furrow will be fine
Was just rooting in the kv website

150s hydraulic variwidth
- weight 4f 1275, 5f 1500. Lift req 4f 3250, 5f 4200
ED 100/200
- weight 4f 1220 lift req 3600
ED 100/300
-weight 4f 1650 lift req 4600 😳

Might be a little bit too much beef on that one…

A 150s is a pretty lightweight plough.

A 300 headstock is just heavier headstock I can't see why it would make any difference to the lift requirements the rest of the plough is the same 🤷‍♂️

An ES is a good bit heavier than an ED we've had both in the past
