Kverneland Optima seed sensor

One of the seed sensors started playing up in the last couple of fields last year, I've checked the plugs and wiring but is there any way of testing the sensor to check if it's working or not? Its £250 for a sensor and I don't want to waste money ordering one until I know that's the fault. Do these sensors fail often? This drill has had a few new ones fitted prior to me owning it and it's one of the new ones playing up now.

Did you resolve your seed sensor problem as I’ve started with the same intermittent problem on one hopper. Any help wold be appreciated

I'm having similar seed sensor problems on a unit on a KV Optima.

Did anyone get sorted with their sensor problems?

How do I get to the sensor inside the drilling unit?

Thanks
