L200 Alarm button ???

Can anyone shed any light onto what this button does in a 2017 L200 Warrior please ?
Nothing on it in the owners manual, doesn’t seem to do anything if pressed, exactly the same in a mates truck too, but obviously something to do with the alarm........but what ?

Does it turn off the internal alarm sensor, you could then leave your dog in the car, lock the door and it would not trigger the alarm.

Does it flash when the doors are central locked

My 08 l200 has a button to press to stop the terrier settting off the alarm when I’m in the shops

that’s probably the same

Possibly. Nothing in the manual about it at all, but was wondering if it was to disable the interior, so must try that.

No, it does have what looks like a light in it, but not seen it on !

Is it an aftermarket addition? I have a 65 plate L200 (same series as yours) and it doesn’t have that button.

Think it’s a Mitsubishi thing as a mate has the same in his. His is from a different didealer and a different area.

No idea on its purpose though.

Sorry to hi jack thread.
Just bought an 11 plate and wondered if there's anyway to switch the reversing sensors of when I've got the stock box on as they do my head in with the constant beeping when reversing.
