Labour Party's Plans for Animal Welfare

You can have all the rules you want on UK animal welfare, but it can all be undone by letting meat from overseas.

Either horsemeat because of no trace ability or crap welfare standards because even if there are rules overseas they are not enforced.

Would you want Spanish killed beef after seeing the video on here of a bunch of arseholes tormenting a Bull in a "traditional festival"?

Bull meat from the bull fights wouldnt be coming over here, and unless tesco has started mixing it in its lasagnes again without tellings us, horse meat wouldnt be being imported either.

They are discussing the materials and look just now ,it will happen
Yeah, but how is the plan to force Mexico to pay going? And wasn't the original thing going to be the whole border rather just sections? Maybe the French ought to tell him what happened to the Maiginot Line.

Back on topic though, Labour in opposition are very good at shouting about ideas that they think the public wants to hear, but usually fail to follow up on, whereas the Tories in opposition mostly just rubbish whatever Labour says and just use broad terminology for their policies so that they can do what they want when in power.

We have a 26 mile wide moat in the UK. Does this stop illegal migrants?

You think a pretty wall will stop someone? The USSR tried, had machine guns, towers, mines and dogs. The only way is to remove the reason people are entering the country in the first place.
Thanks ollie i said that trump rightly or wrongly is carring out his election pledges, now we must get back to politicians in ynis country keeping their promises

I caught the Labour Party political broadcast after the news last night- all I can say is it was a masterclass in ‘how not to win an election’.

I always thought to win you had to appeal to the aspirant middle and offer hope.

Their broadcast appealed solely to those in the roughest areas possible and was basically one long moan whilst offering no hope to anyone. It seemed to enjoy wallowing in deprivation. Even my lefty brother who watched it too said it was god awful.
