Landini Brake Fluid?

Hi all

Just bought a used 06 landini vision, looking it over (in my very limited mechanical knowledge) the brake fluid level is low. There are no dealers for Landini up here on the highlands but the local tractor parts place gave me LHM mineral fluid for it. Looking for landini fluid on google points toward their own brand but doesn’t say whether LHM is the equivalent or not. Anyone with any experience of this? Thanks

Thanks, not sure, the reservoir is not the easiest to see into, will have a proper check tomorrow.

ATF, hydraulic and lhm are all light mineral oils
Dot4 is synthetic

Maybe you could check with our local Landini dealer Marrs of Methlick, I have never dealt with them myself but they've been there a long time and seem to supply parts to the Islands and even as far away a Florida o_O

No doubt you'll need parts at some point so maybe good to know, a lovely part of Aberdeenshire to visit and the exciting news is their about to get a Chinese takeaway soon, it's all happening at Methlick

That was a good shout. I actually phoned them earlier (great minds) and he said as long as it was a mineral type fluid it would be ok, just not dot3 etc. Nice folk and seem helpful. I’ve actually been there a while ago, it’s quite a place!

That's good you got help, nothing worse than putting in the wrong stuff.

I sort of thought they'd be a helpful company like that, like I said they've been there a long time so must be doing something right.

Good luck with your tractor (y)
