What’s the best aggregate surface for a lane leading up to the house? Will be used for cars only?

I’ve dug it out and stuck 6 inch of rock in now I’d like to top it with some nice stone. It needs to be practical and appealing on the eye

it’s part of the ongoing renovation of the house.

i would leave it until your close to finnishing the house

Kerbs both sides and a gravel ,you need something to stop the creep of grass,have you put membrane under the hard core ? ,permeeable paving ?

To be fair all that’s left to do is rough cast the wall you can see most of the internals are done,

Not that far I’m afraid! I’m thinking 20mm blue stone but is that just to industrial
that's what we have used in front of our house ,very durable been down 10 years now, it looks ok , I will get a picture if I remember later

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
