Most self respecting farmers I know would have knocked it around with a chisel.
But I'm not a farmer

Are you sure there's enough room for the socket to sleeve over that nut impact socket would have a thick wall ?
Im being thick but why can't you get at the nut enough to hold it then open and close the grab to undo it?

With the added bonus that if it didn't shift after a half hour with the chisel, then the 51mm could probably be sledged on?Most self respecting farmers I know would have knocked it around with a chisel.
They are a great place to deal with, and quick delivery too, i ran up to order a welder, about half an hour after cut off for next day delivery, she didn't think they had it in stock and would get more the following week, it arrived next morning at breakfast timeFolkstone fixings New 57mm impact socket 3/4 drive £27.60 inc vat and 1st class post Think that will do me
Make your own!
This one is 85mm if I remember correctly, had 10 foot of pipe over the one inch power bar and she held. Half an hour's work to make it.
Have a look at vap part number VLA1526, forget price I bought one a year or so back, eight sockets in the set cover 2 1/4", wasn't expensive.

I know you have an account mentioned it on here several times! The set was on offer a year or so back on one of the reps flyers, I got one then. Never used yet for intended purpose, but good for pushing seals and suspension bushes in with.
Couldn't help sorry! But least you're sorted nowOkay don't rub it in
