Last Ham Standing

People are lazy, they shop where the car will get them closest to the door, the supermarket gets the car parking the little town wants/needs, it also generally has to pay for other local schemes, road alterations to allow deliveries, cash to schools etc, it also emplys a vast ammount of local people.
Areas that generally have a high population of older folk who dont drive and have worked hard all their lives and dont mind walking and still do, still have whats left of village high street shops.
We only have Asda and Aldi, Aldi been here 25 yrs Asda about 4 both have inhouse direct phones to local taxi rank, local shops now advertise they will phone a taxi for you now they soon cottoned on to this, and it has helped keep some shoppers, one or two will also let you leave your bags in shop so you can use them as last place to get your taxi home. Local shops have to work together to keep custom.
