Laundry dilemma!

Oh how I had forgotten the joys of trying to get cow muck out of work clothes. We sold our dairy herd nearly five years ago; my son aged 17 is now doing a couple of days a week as part of his Agricultural course on a local Dairy farm. His clothes are frankly covered in unmentionables and I’m struggling to find a decent laundry detergent to get them clean. Help! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I think any bio should do, I'm on Daz at the moment. Tbh all our staff wear waterproofs at the moment and they wash them in the outside washing machine, although a bucket of water and some washing powder would work too. Does he wear an overall?

I swear cow muck is like a badge of honour for young lads! Get him to do his own washing, he'll soon start covering up 😉
To be fair he does do it when at college. Think everything goes in together and the tumble dryer apparently does more than an extra hot setting 🤦‍♀️ Not too much has come home shrunk.

Easy peasy.... buy a pot of Vanish powder

Bosh some of it on to the clothes in the machine, add your usual detergent, wash at 40 deg
Proper job

Thank me later

Don't use fairy liquid ......OH in hospital recently and I had to do some washing . Never did it before but filled the 'drawer' up with fairy liquid cos I couldn't find anything else ......bubbles everywhere !!
I fill the machine up that does dishes, tablet in, press on 👍🏻

Err, haven’t had any experience of dairy clothes, but for really dirty clothes I always use a “truck wash” style detergent, hot water & make sure you let it all soak for a decent period of time at the beginning of the wash cycle

A good bucket soak, or spot wash really filthy areas with old fashioned bar soap. Fairy non-bio, 40°C prewash and full wash cycle in washing machine.

Then tackle the clothing.
