Lawrence Edwards supa-pac 8500

I wrapped bales for the first time last year with a lawrence edwards supa-pac. I made haylage and it wrapped bales well, I had very little waste. I went to wrap some silage bales but it would not lift the bales!

Is it possible that I connected the hydraulics wrong? I had the 2 hoses connected to a spool the operates the front linkage. I just disconnected the hoses for the front linkage and put the 2 from the wrapper in there. I moved the control lever bac and locked it in place and everything worked.
Tractor is JD 6610.

My question is. What is the correct way to connect the wrapper hoses to the spools?
Thanks

They load hay and haylage no problem, I just met the problem with silage bales. Just not quite enough to pick them up. My son lifted the arms to help and it worked so it was almost there. I just wondered if I could increase the flow to the wrapper, or am I just asking too much?

I run an 8500 that also does squares on a JD 6410 .
Pressure is thru scv and return via a separate return.
Will slow up on real heavy bales.
Make sure all pivots are well greased,
There is a little valve on the wrapper block you could check

Thanks FG. Like this. The left hand hose is flow. Right hand return

As Cmoron said, they need to be in the same slice of scv, at least.
The right hand scv won't be happy being pressurised like that.
You will prob hear alot of hissing when you engage that lever.
There's a knob in front of the 3 black caps that adjusts oil flow, turn to max.
My return tho, is via a port directly behind you're top link.
Possibly where that 90 degree elbow is (Do you have a loader fitted?)
I'll take a pic
