Texacloth are the competition out here. They have a number of pick up points throughout Scotland. They advertise for an August uplift if memory serves.

Don't know why they want the wool so early? They must want it or something. ........:scratchhead:
Spoke to one of the lads at texacloth depot last year , said they should consider opening a building supply outlet . Appears a few rogues are putting the odd brick/ breeze block/ sand in the bags to bulk up the wool weights  !
So they now sort it then post out the cheque a few days later rather than pay on day! You couldn't make it up!

Representing Montgomeryshire or any county for the BWMB is a voluntary position and is not a paid position.
One of the roles is to Represent fellow wool producers so that as much of the price received for their wool as possible is passed on to the producer after it is sold on their behalf by the British Wool Marketing Board.

Nothing . They do it so that all wool producers are represented and their views heard in Bradford.

Not even expenses? Are you sure?
Should get reasonable expenses shouldn't they ? everyone has bills to pay
