I got the ryobi after we got block paving. Easier than getting big still back back from farm work shop.
Gets plenty of jobs. Moss rolls off house roof everyday in this weather and needs blowing off patio.
Clearing after strimmer or hedge cutter.
Open car doors and blast it out.
Put extra bubble bath in kids bath. Then blast foam all over them . Fun but gets you in trouble with the wife.
Do not try blowing the cobwebs out of farmhouse ceilings with one, unless you like sleeping in said dog house
Take cyclone off a dyson and blast it with a blower. Amazing how much filth blows out.
I have a gravel drive and yard bounded all round by lawn or hedge. Think a blower would be good for clearing up grass and hedge trimmings after mowing, striking the edges or trimming the hedge. A rake only does so much no matter how long you spend at it. I already have a pair of makita batteries and some tools. Would also seriously consider their chainsaw if and when my old Husky expires.
the only reason I asked, is if you were going to use it for blowing off baler/combine/ grains store etc rather than leaves
Yes, they do a couple and if you really want to go to town a 9Ah battery, but it also works with their other batteries.do millwaki e do a cordless blower ?
Milwaukee above does 120mphHonda 56v cordless blower specs:
Air volume
Air speed
- Low (m³/h) 420
- High (m³/h) 650
- TURBO (m³/h) 810
For comparison a 2-stroke handheld Stihl BG56CE pushes out air at 143mph / 64 m/s. So appreciably faster!
- Low (mph : m/s) 44mph / 20 m/s
- High (mph : m/s) 74kmph 33 m/s
- TURBO (mph : m/s) 91mph 41 m/s
No idea on air output/volumes for the baby Stihl. Can’t find it published.
The Honda with 4Ah battery weighs about the same as the 2-stroke Stihl around 4.5kg.
Anyone found any better spec for a handheld battery blower?
Thanks. Just trying to get a measure of air volume out and speed if possible. The Milwaukees air output is 450cfm / 765m3/h, so a smidge less than the Honda at 810m3/h. Much better air speed from the Milwaukee though.Milwaukee above does 120mph
Ryobi are approx £50 before battery
