We've just had this with ours, found it was only in thick, wet crops though? Replaced the conditioner belts and dropped out forward speed. Seems to have helped.

I had this problem with a splendimo 280, changed belts, forward speed, clearances, got ready to set fire to machine. A new set of conditioner times solved the problem.

This was why I didn't get on with our Lely machines. Have a look at the conditioner tines, as said, if they are even slightly worn change them.

I have a 320mc from 04. Only ever had this problem in very heavy tall first cut when it was too wet to go and with a tractor too big to notice i was on the limit. Slowing down always helps, as it's because it's too much to push through. I never turn or change conditioner tines before they are worn off.

I had this problem. If it's a new mower it should have the option to raise the conditioner hood by 50mm. Unless like my slightly older model that option isn't there, there is a kit to raise it. Takes a good drill bit to drill into the main beam though.

Had this problem with a demonstrator lely 320 a few years back. Cutting a customers late heavy one cut grass it wrapped everytime up and down the field! Go near any nettles and it was awful! Dealer took it away wrapped with grass up to show the lely rep, not sure what the outcome was.
Shame really it was a good mower otherwise

We had a mc320 it would either wrap up or try to chop the grass rather than condition it. The rep came out and said it was set up wrong spent 3 hours adjusting it,went out to the field and it wrapped up straight away.this went on all day with no progress.end of the season they agreed to change it for a new one ,which was no better after several sets of belts and slip clutch plates I gave up and changed it best thing I ever did!
