If you arnt to fussy about the finish do as I do and lift the bed slightly on the spool till its parallel to the ground then set the cutting height on link arms
Ok on rough ground it will Bob up n down a bit but on flattish fields works fine

We had topping skids on a 9ft Lely Optimo. there were 4. Still got them somewhere if anyone wants to make an offer.

Use topping skids on my lely 280 works out every second disc. Can put on every one but no need for it.
