anyone breaking or know of any of these balers either partially fire damaged or written off due to damage, or by any chance know of a cheaper alternative. We are looking for a processor/ ecu type unit off one we had an incident with the cable that runs from processor to the control box and Lely want an eye watering amount of money for a new one. Tia

Do you mean the black box on the side? I know where there is one being broken but what’s left I am not sure but can check.

Yes that's it, has 2 big rectangle multi plugs going into it. I would be very grateful if you'd be able to get any info on it thanks

Not that I can personally help, but you'll need to tell us if it's for a farmer or a master.

If it's a farmer it would be possible to knock up a controller if you were/know someone keen with the soldering iron.

its a master I'm afraid so slightly more complicated but I did wonder if they put the same processors on them all as standard.

No different on a farmer to a master as one is bale control e hand piece the other e-link. Got parts diagram I am presuming it is no2 you are looking for?

What is wrong with your controller? We changed one years ago on a master and I may still have the old one.

We have 12v of power coming into the processor and we have continuity in the earth so all is correct going into the processor. We have got 12v of power coming out down brown cable which feeds the control box but we have no continuity in the white cable (negative) so the box won't work, we manually put an earth to the control box and the box came on but it won't get passed the first screen so it's not getting any signals from baler

We changed our one years ago as density could not be altered from cab but as far as I recall it made no difference so not sur3 if controller is good or not tbh I will have a look and see if I still have it tucked away

out of interest, how much do lely/agco want for that box roughly, i often wondered how much one would be.

umm, sharp enough isnt it, mind you with the price of parts these days it dosent surprise me.
