Lemken VariOpal 9 is narrowing itself in the field ?

I have 6 furrow which is narrowing itself in the field.
I took cylinders to the shop and they replaced everything and same thing. I tried to swap that black block on turning cylinder with another one from 3 furrow but no change.

What can be the cause ? I must hold it all the time if I want to work.

This hydraulic guy has no clue except that he gave me receipt on 400€. Does it have any valves or something ?

Can you blank off the width adjustment ram or does it close in to turn over?

It would eliminate the ram. Also worth unplugging from the tractor while you do a stroke make sure it’s not leaking back through the scv or getting pressure form the tractor.

Have you talked to your area Lemken representative?

My rep is very approachable, spoke to him about our 2007 plough recently and he went out of his way to sort the issue out FoC.

It turns the plough without problem and it goes back. Then when in land I guess resistance is pushing the oil and it is narrowing.

I have unplugged it and same thing. I have called at Lemken here and they say to check 2 valves on the cylinder. It has spring and he says also metal ball should be there but I dont recall seeing the ball.
I will remove valves and send himphoto what I have there.

I have removed one valve and this os what I have. Do I miss something ?
Also I see on parts that there are version with hole on this X piece and without. Why it is different ?

I’ve had to lap the tapered seat of the valve in on my Kuhn ploughing (similar valve) to stop it creeping over on its own. It got to the stage it would be half way over within 5 minutes if left in the air, new ram seals didn’t sort it.
I just used some fine lapping paste on the tapered valve, didn’t take much and sorted it.
