Lightbar iPhone apps

Both. Usually I stick it to a patch of velcro I have on the roof, but the last couple times I've used it I had it on the dash facing out the windscreen. Think the roof is better but you've got to remember to take it off when you finish...they don't like being left out in the rain!
I mount it inside the top of the cab under the sunroof glass, again using a bit of Velcro.

It gets a better signal there than on the top of the dash, and it's safe from the rain.

Make sure your phone GPS receiver is switched on then when you first open the app its in demo mode so switch that off somewhere in the settings menu, some of the buttons need to be long pressed to work and to start work mode its the slide switch on the bottom right

I have put it on an Android tablet. The app is in it's normal modus. I assume the slider to the right (blue bar) is on and to the left (red bar) is off?
In the settings menu it says the app has access to the GPS receiver. At location services GPS is set on and also shows in the menu. Is there something else you need to do at the start?

Still says sats --. Do you need to be driving round for it to pick up satellites?

I've got it working (ish) on a sony Xperia phone connected to a gps receiver via Bluetooth. It'll give direction and speed accurately, though does occasionally freeze unless all other apps are closed before running it.

However I can't figure out how to set the AB points?

If fert spreading for an example the A point would be the start of your first run and B point could be the end,for the rest of yours runs across the field you are guided parellel to a straight line between these two points,or someone else can hopefully explain it better if that makes no sense

Will it work when you are standing still or do you need to drive round? Does it pick up satellites with you fairly quickly or not? Mine keeps at 0 but GPS is on.

You need to drive and create an A-B line first, the drive using the light bar. Didn't seem to have any problems picking up satellites

I've just ordered the Qstarz BT818 xt from ebay for £50 delivered and a hudl 2 from Tesco for £99, I'll download one of those apps and try it out when go round the grazing fields with nitrogen again.

If it works like described in previous posts then it'll be good.

Will let you know how it goes.

My qstarz came in the post today. Its tiny! Got it working, though it doesn't like reconnecting to my phone for some reason. Have to unpaid and repair to get it going. Thanks gander for the link to farm sprayer. Tried it walking about the yard. Seems to be working.

Q.
How do you set it to allow for an extra half width around the ditch backs, as you would have sowing grassland fertiliser (ie sowing out of one side around the perimeter)?

PS why is agribus navi not appearing in my search in the play store?
