The bit I like with Limejump is that you can opt for either a fixed price or go with the variable one based on a mix of half hourly APX and system prices. Their portal gives you live access to pricing and outputs. That way you can adjust your own on site usage to fit periods of high export prices. e.g. we can adjust our cold stores to avoid the evening and morning peaks, so we export maximum amount at peak price and stand more chance of maxing out on any Triads. By that means we actually got an average of 6.1p last month. Summer averages are less of course. Over an entire year there isn't much difference between fixed and floating, but at least floating gives you some influence on what you get.

Is Limejump OK to deal with? They have offered me a Fixed Price PPA to sign today for 12 months £64.79 inc benefits but not including Triad which they will pay 95% on top of this

Seems a good rate but a little nervous about the company

Limejump have been fine with us, have a PPA in it's second year with them, have also moved import to them as well.
Just be aware that on import with limejump, it's market rate on the day and time of day, plus about 2%
This means you are subject to paying the full triad costs if your not exporting at the time.

But overall I'm happy with them, but always checking the competition for their prices.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
