I appreciate the difference, I just didn’t want @Feldspar to rush into something without thinking the whole job through properly. We all know how impulsive he is!The difference here is that a bund is a legal requirement for a chemical store or fuel tank. It is not a legal requirement for liquid fertiliser though it is good practice and environmental risk management. .

Looks a very tidy set up Brisel.Yara recommend 6" of compacted hard core base under 6" of decent concrete. See the attached guides from them.
We would have locks on the exit to the tank and on the taps through the wall whereas with your set-up you'd only need to break one of the locks by the tank.
Will definitely seal the concrete blocks.
Just spoken to the Omex person and he said he's not aware of people piping through the wall "because that defeats the object of the bund". But I don't see why, if it's properly sealed, that it would defeat the object.
Also, for a slab taking two 50 m3 tanks, how deep would you say you'd need of crushed hardcore below the concrete slab? Was thinking of putting 25cm depth of concrete with reinforcing in.
Here you go, just put this in on a estate that’s a fair distance from home, 100 cube if fert in a bund, container spray store and 15k L of water for sprayers
Drill trailer s bit in the way as we are sticking beans in today there

I assume that the poly pipes are for draining the sump. How have you secured them?

Mines the same as @longnecks
I know the pannels will have the strengh but will the corner post be strong enough if in the unlikly chance it had a full tank full let go insideThis is the bund I put up last year.
Still need to put a hand rail round the steps.
I think it’s 1.5m hight.

Wouldn’t dream of putting a tank in nowadays without a bund, surely only a matter of time before it’s a requirement.
Have used Sika Flex Pro 3 in the past, but there may be better out there now. It is approved for sewage works etc so fairly arduous conditions! For sealing block work against liquid fert what products has anyone used?
