Why ? We have 2 old railway tankers and another 50000l tank ,all with no glass lining ? Very little rust in them you would be supprised

Same here. Was going to paint it inside with bitumen this year but having inspected them I do t think we'll bother. This was an ex oil tank so the fert has cleaned it up nicely although we have run two filters on the tank and then a filter on the sprayer as a precaution but when we check the filters they've always been clean.

We have ex industry air compressor tanks pressure test when they were used to 130psi and made out of 18mm steel and the inside is like new and these were made in 1962. If you look out for them they are out there. I have seen two fibre glass tanks that got hit with some thing quite high up and split down one side the tanks we have hold about 50000 lts.

If you’ve got your own tank if you’re buying Fertilizer presumably you can shop around. What sort of savings are their to be had ? Just been quoted £209 /t for 24n 7.5 s
