I have asked before in the past for something to replace the truly effing awful pile of non organic shite that is Planet*. I have cracked, and will even pay for something to avoid using it ever again. Unstable, creaky and truly dreadful to input data with.

We don't run many stock in all honesty at present and will reduce the Sucklers more this time and buy in more weanlings next winter. So around 25 Sucklers + calves, similiar number of young stock to 12 months (max), 60 odd ewes.

I want a simple to use program to manage the NVZ requirements and give NPK recommendations. All grassland is already analysed every 3-5 years so got this data to hand from last years round.

* Yep, it's bloody crashed again, taking a pile of input data as it will NOT save partial data  Last time, it updated itself, changed the settings to default and screwed up bytrying to d/l data from the wrong location!!!!

Looks like Farm Matters is the only software about at a modest cost to achive my requirements! I have d'l the trial software, and I am having a few hours inputting fields data in, so sunny days is NOT what I want :) Thanks to Neil @Farm Matters Ltd for his assistance so far.

The .gov spreadsheet available online is no use really, as it is simply a series of pages that can be printed out, no calcs are done which makes it a bit u/s...

I intend to look hard at Farm Matters to replace Shearwell Farmworks this year.
