Livestock / general purpose shed permitted shed

Hi all
Thinking of putting in planning for a livestock gp shed green field site nearest house + 400 meters.
Confused as to put in as permitted dev or full planning may want a caravan / log cabin. In last weeks comic(fw) made me doubt it.Any advice would be great before l drop one.ps genuine farmer.

P/d if more than 400 meters from a private dwelling don’t just fill in the forms have plans done and a justification statement to prove essential need forget the caravan at the moment
