Loaded up and trucking!!

If the owner wanted to sell it, it wouldn’t be sitting neglected in the bushes,
Now all and sundry know about it,
If you've nothing positive to say, move on. Actually a few enthusiasts of Ergomatic cabbed trucks asked as they like restoring and saving things

You and a few others seem to go out of your way to comment where it's not needed or wanted

And I didn't cause the building in the middle of the village to collapse nor make the wind blow that took the hoarding down

This thread is about trucks and those that appreciate them.

Must of been the only way they would fit but having the weight of that Bonser? forklift right on the back there can’t be ideal

Scania's first truck in 1902 that only carried 1.5 tonnes of cargo and was equipped with a 2-cylinder 12hp engine. And now we have the V8 770

In spring, we have a lot of Irish fridges coming in for veg. One way we’ve found to wind up the more demanding/antagonistic/rude Topline drivers is by asking how they like driving the 8V 🤣🤣

that and pointing out various similarities with our ivecos 🤣

Spent a bit of my late teens driving an old one of those, (not a turbostar, they were too expensive for us, closest we got was a turbo tech) moving fert up and down quaysides, twin splitter made you feel like a real trucker. Except when you missed the gear and everyone was watching. No auto box, no radio, just a lot of noise, shitload of air leaks and a big cloud of blue smoke 🤣 Happy days!

Used to be chap in the Village here years back.. Ex DFDS woked to death Iveco 360...Spent more time fixing it than he did doing any work.

The cab was always tilted , he was always black... And you'd often see it close to home in distress

This is my current stead, Stralis 500 Hi-way. Never been much of a Stralis fan, but its growing on me steadily, does help that he kits them out well (top bunk removed and cupboards fitted, memory foam mattress upgrade, inverter, big fridge. All new units are coming with big fridge, microwave, coffee makers, top spec sat navs)

Turned down a swap into a 69 reg R500XT Scania the other week, only because I couldn't keep my trailer and the one it had wouldn't empty as clean as mine does, so meant more sweeping out between loads. Hoping to get one of the new FH 500's he has on order for early next year, but will see, probably end up with one of the Iveco S-ways instead now I've said its growing on me :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
