That looks pretty good straping down too some on here not mention nobody thoughwould that be a legal way to secure a load in the uk. For equipment here we’d have to use chains crossed from the opposite side on each corner. Straps pulled across a tire would be a big ticket if caught. Just curious. Not criticism

Put a few cattle into Hereford in its day .I'd love to know just how many stores this trailer has moved in it's life, it was based on a farm just round the corner from Mum and Dad

3 axle dollies they help to keep it straight with less sway. when they come past you or towards you at 100k+ with 140 T they will be straight as an arrow.I wonder why the dollies/bogeys have to have three axles?
I guess the axle weights are 6 or 7 tonnes each? But if the trailer is on the tractor it’s only on top of 2 axles.
I know they are probably 11 tonnes each on the tractor but surely a tandem axle dolly with twin axles could be made, saving length and weight.
Or maybe it’s about the braking efficiency.
The big road train can be 60 meters long , that’s approximately the length of 12 average cars . I’ve got some good videos of them but can’t post them because not on Facebook.3 axle dollies they help to keep it straight with less sway. when they come past you or towards you at 100k+ with 140 T they will be straight as an arrow.
