Loader electrical 3rd service

Fitting electrical be 3rd service to loader do I need to fit a relay to protect switch In The joystick or not

You'll need a relay if the service you're switching uses more current than the joystick switch rating. Generally controling a service like a spool valve is okay for a microswitch but anything more beefy like Paul farriers lights should be protected by a relay.

I fitted an Mx loader to a tractor last year the way I was told to do it at the time was take main power to relay from starter then a live from the ignition so it can’t use power and saves the switch.
