Looking for a actuator for our pelleter ! I have been quoted £200 delivered from logic. Does anyone know of alternative suppliers please

Take it off. Clean and note part no's. Google. Good chance Granit or RS does it. Even AliBaBA.

I have had it to bits and it's striped some gears .
Bloody rubbish design . A long geared plastic band that wraps round a sprocket that pushes the band in and out working the shutter.
Always needed tlc.

I I just replaced the electric motor on my manual spinner. It looks like they are looking for the electric on off ram which is different.

I just repaired my Stocks Fan Jet pelleter. I thought the actuator had gone but it was the control box, in the end. I replaced both parts for £20ish each off amazon. They are as simple a machine as you can get really. A bit of basic wiring and it works fine. The actual parts were in the region of what you mentioned. Its daylight robbery for some basic electronics. Granted, they probably won't last 20 years like the previous stuff but I can replace it 10 times over and still be saving money.
I say, get yourself a multimeter and try the cheaper stuff first.
