My name is Letizia Caruso, I am a 4th year student at the University of Aberdeen. Under the supervision of Dr Amy Irwin, I developed a study to find out more about the risks involved in working alone on farms with heavy machinery (such as tractors).

We are looking for UK and Irish farmers with tractor experience to take part in a survey:

http://viis.abdn.ac.uk/snapwebhost/s.asp?k=153493719259

This questionnaire is designed understand risk perception and safety climate in lone workers operating heavy vehicles in farms. The first part focuses on investigating risk awareness and personal experiences.

The data will be collected anonymously (you will not be asked for your name or location). The survey is primarily based on open-ended questions, but you can respond freely, and as detailed as you wish. The survey should take around 20-30mins to complete. Open to all UK and Irish farmers.

Thank you in advance,

Letizia
