Bought my flemming tr8 2 years ago £4000 +vat.
Good trailer, like the fact it's narrower than the competition going through old stone gateways. Plus only single ram for tipping so need less of a reservoir, even my mf 230 tips it.
Marshall is a better trailer but not £3000 better

I’ve pulled a few different trailers of various sizes in my short time of driving tractors (have a job outside of ag now, so back to 8 tonne griffiths on the weekend now - one of which is drop side funnily enough)

My neighbours 10 tonne Flemming is by far the worst trailer I have ever driven. The drawbar just isn’t right, suspension arrangement aweful and it just banged and rattled unnecessarily.

AW, Richard Weston, West, Marshall, Frazer and Reco were all leagues ahead. I know they cost more, but even a bit of refinement from a Flemming is worth it.

Flemming do some reasonable products, but twin axle trailers are not one of them in my opinion.

There must be a lot of us, me included, who have trailers like this with rotten bodies but good chassis. Is there no option to re-body them at a sensible price?

Second hand trailers are threw the roof,, know boys getting more for them now that did when they got them new,, new trailers clean mad price's,, surly these prices can't stick it,, there going to be another bang I'd say,,

Where abouts are you ? Ive fabricated a few bodys for tipping trailers. The last two were on 8ton chassis.

The above 10 ton one sold at the recent online sale at lanark

If the chassis is OK I think John Kerr makes bodies for trailers, unsure if he does drop sides though.
Gardiner trailers would be another one that would possibly refurbish it also.
Marshall farm machinery in Aberdeenshire another shout, with plenty drop side trailers on their website.
