Hello everyone,

I'm looking for permission to metal detect on farm land in Edinburgh, West Lothian, Midlothian and East Lothian, stocks field areas please. I am writting here because I totally understand that farmers are people who are most of the time occupied, for that I would not bother you by knocking on your door.

I have a NCMD number and proof indentity. My purpose will be to remove all metals found, will fill in any holes, also I will split anything over the value of 5 pounds found and will declare all finds to you and the adhere to the metal detecting finds rules and report anything over 300 years old to my local finds officer.

This would be my first land permission so I know it's going to be hard trusting me, however, I am a responsable and respectful person who loves nature and history.

I will always be friendly, explain everything I'm doing and always carry letters for proof of being allowed on your land and answer any questions you may have.

Thank you very much in advance
