Looking for New Holland combine.

Looking to get information on New Holland combines. Upgrading from New Holland 1545. Thinking of New Holland Clayson 8070 (not cx), TX 32 or 34.
What are these machines like? We are cutting about 15o acres of mainly barley, with some wheat, oats and beans. Looking for clean machines?

I have a TX32 15ft header about 2800 hours which I was mulling over selling. Where are you? I'm in West Wales

For the extra money you will be far better buying a Tx rather than a 8070, Night and day noise difference inside cab and alot nicer to drive. Look for a hydrostatic one if possible, far nicer to drive !!

I have one, tx32. 15ft head, fixed sieve, manual gearbox, 800 tyres, I think there's 2400 hrs on it last time I looked. They're very reliable and I've always done any repairs and maintenance myself. Personally I'm happy with the manual gearbox as the only thing that can go wrong is a belt which I've yet to change. Keep them well greased and checked over and you'll have little trouble with it. Easily cut a couple of hundred acres in Irish conditions. If I could find a clean tx66 I'll probably sell mine. If you're going to look at any look out for the rocker arm bearing on each side of the shaker shoe. You'll not really know if this needs replacing, you might hear a knocking noise when it's running. I've learned the hard way when I was sold mine and now my combine has two new bearings,shaker shoe and new bottom sieve. I've tapped the bearing holder so this can now be greased

I wouldn’t spend too much time on this. This particular fellow wasted many an hour of mine trying to keep him to his word on a deal, not to mention the cost involved telephoning an Irish number numerous times and the inconvenience of time lapse pursuing a legitimate deal. A fellow who eventually made up a story of a life changing accident to avoid my calls, which was in poor taste as I was grieving for a relative at the time. Be warned.
