Lump on udder

Noticed today one of my ewes has a lump on her udder, right next to her teat. Only had sheep just over a year so looking for advice what it might be please. I thought mastitis was internal lumps and bumps, and orf was scabs. This is a proper little growth. Looks like a small spot on her teat too.
She had twins this year and I’m just about to split for weaning.

Hi there, Has it a soft, fleshy feel to it? If so, it's probably not to worry about and just one of those things. It could be a type of soft skin tag from the lambs rubbing, or else a blocked sebaceous gland causing a cyst. If it's there come lambing time again, keep an eye for lambs latching onto it rather than the teat.

If it's hard, it could be an abscess just under the skin. The udder has dealt with a minor infection from thistle or something by sealing it off. Keep an eye on it. If it exudes any pus, bathe it with mild dilution of detol or similar.

The place on the teat looks like a tiny version of one of the above. It doesn't look sore from the photo, so just keep an eye on it once she's weaned off.

Thank you! Checked it today and it was harder rather than soft but the top where it looked like it may have a tiny bit of infection now looked and felt scabby. She didn’t mind me touching it at all.
They’ve been separated for weaning now so will keep an eye on it and physically check it again in a couple of weeks.
