Lungworm

Hi all, we have a calf around 370KG badly affected breathing. We had be using Noromectin pour on when the herd started coughing, but it didn't seem to be having an effect. Especially this one, his breathing was becoming more and more laboured when walking to the meal. Done them with Ivomec super and covered this one with Draxxin. 3 days later no real improvement, in fact his breathing got worse. Vet told me to give him Hexasol and dose him with Levicide. This evening he is standing in the house panting. Obviously finding it difficult to cough up the worms. I've given him Colvason to help him breath. Is there anything else that can be done?

No temperature so no pneumonia. But I know they can contract it from dead worms in the lungs, so I covered for it. Its a bought in calf straight off a cow and was done with Noromectin as soon as it come on the farm then very 3 weeks after that. But it obviously didn't work, so thats when we done them all with Ivomec Super.
