Machinery exporter to eastern europe needd

Do any members have knowledge of machinery importers to eastern europe, or those Uk businesses actively selling to those countries.
Had some eastern europeans interested in buying several items, but would rather deal with firms that someone vouched for

It would probably be cheaper for them to arrange the transport using local companies. That's what i did when i bought a bateman last year.

It got a little more complicated since last year, it needs a phitosanitary check and customs declaration, a customs comisioner might be needed

Since Brexit, export doesn't work the same way as it used to. Especially concerning VAT, and potential import duties you may even need an EORI number.

I've used Peters and May before ( not for Ag stuff ) but will be the same process.
Again. Over complicating it.
You’ll need an eori number. As will the purchaser.
Zero the vat.
you’ll need a commodity code for the paperwork that the driver will have. Put it down as an industrial or construction machine then it won’t need cleaning or inspecting.
Load into lorry that the buyer sends, fill paperwork in and wave goodbye.

Be very wary of exporting to the Eastern Europe and not charging VAT. They must provide hard proof that they are exporting the machine, and evidence of such export after it occurs. If it is not forthcoming you will be liable for the VAT. You are best charging it and refunding when you have got evidence of export

There’s thousands of machines go out the country every week. Do you think they all charge vat then refund it? No not a chance.

Driver will give a copy of export papers . Job done

I expect a lot of people never see the export paperwork but the chance of customs catching up is slight.
I don't know if you have seen how some of those guys operate, I sold an old inverter and the guy who collected it had everything on board stacked to the Gunwhales, you name it it was there, mainly second hand domestic goods. The chance I would have got paperwork back is extremely slight!

Cheffins do to unknown buyers.

Many countries farmers are not vat registered.
